The anticipation for their first game was really seen in their little faces every since they started practicing. Fear, doubt, uncertainty, determination, ambition, and silliness, were the components of the adrenaline rush they had the morning of the game. I seen our rare breed boys, pumping each other up, seeking their coaches for comfort, dancing around in a huddle and then they stopped to look at the field together. I could only imagine what was in their little minds. I will take a guess, we tackling everything moving, what can i do to not get tackled?, can i just sit this one out coach?; maybe the other team will not show up. Wait what plays did coach teach us. No matter what was in their little minds, it was 4 minutes to game time, and it is about to get real. Our boys suited up in that gold and purple, ready or not they got on that field and conquered those fears, doubts, and uncertainties like little champs. Even though they did not win, they really did win, because they made their coaches proud, they did not give up. They kept pushing back and defeated the only game that truly matter and it was in their MINDS.
YES TO SEE THEIR SMILES AFTER THE GAME BECAUSE THEY DID A GOOD JOB FOR NEVER
HAD PLAYED FOOTBALL BEFORE!!
